Welcome to the home of Mike Chesworth Photography, a Creative Professional and YouTube Creator based on the Sefton Coast in the UK.

My photography journey started when I was a young child and was given a 110-flip film camera and a disposable flash cartridge. Back then, you were limited to a small number of photographs, and if you wanted to use a flash, you had to attach a flash cartridge to the top. You had to cherish and love every shot. Since then, I have enjoyed the creative side of photography, looking for something unique and different in my images.

I rediscovered photography in 2005 after buying my first digital SLR. The digital world allowed me to experiment with an endless supply of images, and harking back to my youth also opened my eyes to film photography.

Photography, for me, is more than the final image it's about the journey along the way.

I prefer to be out in the open rather than behind a computer, so photography is as much about exploration and experimentation as it is about photography.

Photography is a creative outlet and a great stress reliever after a busy day. I'm out in all weather, whether it's wind, rain, or snow, so I'll be there with my camera.
